Hi Fellow Knitters,
Sydney has already had its average yearly rainfall and it is only the beginning of April. This has been great crafting weather and great for the garden but not so great for outdoor activities.
In my previous blog I showed a Granny Square Blanket I had made. It has now gone to an appreciative home and I have made a new larger one in entirely different colours. The first blanket had similar colours to the one in the pattern I had purchased. It is a great delight to try new colour combinations. Once again I have not quite finished this blanket - I am still deciding on a suitable border.
Looking for the perfect gift for Mothers' Day? Check out my pure wool, hand knitted blankets for sale on this website. I am sending out 14 to find new homes. I am sure they would all like to be cuddling with someone, rather than stashed away in my cupboards. Here are a few.
Ferg and I recently enjoyed meeting and chatting with quite a few crafters at the Newcastle and Ballarat CraftAlive shows. We look forward to our next CraftAlive Show which will be in Canberra at the Old Bus Depot site from the 1st June, 2022.
Ferg and I have gone local with our Sip Knit Yarn shop. We now attend the UP MARKET markets at the Castle Hill (NSW) Showground. They are on the last Sunday of each month and we look forward to being there on Sunday 24 April.
