The cluster of gum leaves are framed by a Moss Stitch border.

  • Twisted stitches create the 3D leaves.
  • The gum nuts are made separately and attached afterwards.
  • A garter stitch border completes the rug.

Tip: Add stamens to the gum nuts to make them into gum blossoms.

The rug measures 135cm x 90cm. It uses 1200g of 12 ply yarn (Bulky USA, Chunky UK) and is knitted on 6mm needles.
